Yet these are hardly precise coordinates, and you could still be looking around for quite some time. These hints will come through at random intervals, meaning that you can get them in any order (with a few exceptions).Īfter receiving a tip, you will notice that a purple circle appears somewhere on the map, giving you a vague idea of the area you need to search. Throughout the game, you will periodically receive calls from other characters, tipping you off about the locations of barn finds. Once this time has elapsed, it will then be added to your garage. When you discover one of the neglected cars, it will not be added to your inventory straight away and you will instead have to wait for a fixed period, so that it can get a bit of much-needed TLC from a mechanic. There are 14 of these so-called "Barn Finds" for you to track down and restore, some of which are remarkably well hidden. However, there are a few vintage rides that you can only add to your collection by finding them in disused storage units dotted around the map. You’ll have to pull out that Xbox 360 that you have in storage (or purchase a new one) and play those games on the console.Most cars in Forza Horizon 5 can be unlocked by simply purchasing them from the showroom, or by winning them on the "Wheelspin" gacha machine. Several of these games are only on the Xbox 360, and aren’t playable via Xbox Backward Compatibility. If you haven’t played any of the earlier games, it’s not too late to play these games, but it will require quite the effort on your part. Sadly, I won’t be able to claim all of these cars, as my Xbox Live account from my Xbox 360 days was hacked, and I could never reclaim it. If you aren’t sure if you’ve played these games before, you can verify this by heading to the Forza Rewards website. It’s a nice easter egg on Playground Games part to bring those cars into its latest game, Forza Horizon 5. If you’ve played these games, you’ll release that these bonus cars just happen to be the cover car for each of these games.
